Dr. David Gartz was born and raised in Los Alamos, NM and graduated from Los Alamos High School in 1996. He began his educational pursuits at Brigham Young University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2002 after serving a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in São Paulo, Brazil. Dr. Gartz graduated Cum Laude from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 2006 and began practicing general dentistry in Los Alamos that year.
Dr. Gartz enjoys his time with family. He and his wife, Stacey, are proud parents of six children — Hannah, Norah, Eddie, Will, Sarah, and Levi — and love to play soccer and basketball together, as well as bike, swim, run, and travel as a family.
Continuing education has been vitally important to Dr. Gartz, who has completed numerous courses through the American Dental Association, the Dawson Academy, Spear Education Institute, and the Hands on Training Institute. He is an alumnus of the Dawson Academy and an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
